Acrylonitrile homopolymer (Acrylic) does not hydrolyzze, so it is used to replace polyester in low temperature, chemical corrosion and humidity.
The copolymer of acrylic is not resistant to hydrolysis, so it can not be used to replace acrylic homopolymer in filtration.
